: Confused: Just a few months back, I would deny DELL account that was listed on all 3 of my CR. The only credit report agency, whether TransUnion delete the other came back with the investigation as mines that do not. I do not know what else to do . Controversial over and over again with this account.
rnWürden be my best option, The Original Creditor Dell or should I contact it on my CR? It will be off my reports in 2011 removed.
rnEs seems the majority of the creditors that I have to accounts with either open or go for Experian, Equifax and rarely TransUnion.

Playing fast and loos with the truth and "pretending" you have/are filing a lawsuit is foolish; not matter how "successful" it's been with your "clients".
:trainwreck:
In any case, you obviously misunderstood the OP's situation…this is a case of Identity Theft.
The FCRA is VERY clear on the responsibilities of the CRA and and DF in this case and there is no need to run around with pseudo small claims filings…an attorney needs to be retained (or the OP needs to act on his/her own) and a real suit filed as these clowns obviously have no intention of following the law.

Reply:Here's the sad truth: credit reporting agencies (CRAs) are not paid to help you, the consumer. Who pays the CRA's for their services? Lenders.
Do lenders care if your credit report is correct? Well, they can make twice as much money on a person with bad credit than they do on a person with good credit, since they can charge higher interest rates.
The way the system works right now, CRAs have a financial incentive to help their customers (lenders) collect more money (from you) by ignoring your requests to remove errors on your report.
Your mission is to GET THEIR ATTENTION and make them jump. How can you do that without hiring an attorney?
Here's an excerpt of a very crafty strategy from my friend Regis Sauger's book Get Out Of Credit Prison:
"This four-step process is the only one I have found that works.
1. First, write a very nice letter to the credit reporting agency and ask them to verify the information that is reported to them as accurate.
2. Within two weeks of sending the first letter to the credit reporting agencies, send another letter via Certified Mail with a Return Receipt Request to the furnisher of information (creditor) asking them validate the account.
3. If you do not receive a response from the furnisher within 30 days from the date on your return receipt, then the furnisher of information has failed to validate your debt. Your next task is to send a letter to the credit reporting agency asking them how the furnisher of information can verify the past-due information as accurate when they have not proven the debt (by validating it.)
4. If the CRA does not fix your credit report after failing to validate, your next step may be to play ?footsie? and repeat Step 2, sending another demand for proof of the debt. Or you may decide to stop the charades immediately. If you want to play hardball, go right to step five.
5. Go to your local small claims court and pick up a couple blank small claims forms. Now, on the front of each form is a section for ?statement of claim?, which is where you write your complaint. In this section you state that you are suing the furnisher of information (creditor) for violation of a specific federal law. Here is where you really shine! Instead of filing the lawsuit with the court, simply have your signature on the first page of the small claims form notarized.
This is why Step 5 is clever: when you have your signature notarized, you are simply swearing under penalty of perjury that you are you. The notary only witnesses your signature; they do not notarize the wording of the document. They are not attorneys, nor do they represent the court.
Now you send the notarized copy of the first page of your small claims form to the bill collector or furnisher of information that is refusing to update your information.
You have simply put them on notice that you are serious. This method has done wonders for many of my clients."
Remember, the CRA's are not on your side!! Try this method and see if you can finally get their attention.
Good luck!

Ok.
Well, if you've done both (FTC affidavit and police report) and you've sent copies of both to the appropriate entities (and can prove it) and those entities still refuse to honor them/take action then it's time for an attorney because there ass is in a sling for refusing to comply with the FCRA.
Go find an NCA attorney and take them to task.
When a business or a person simply refuses to follow the law; only a court has the power to make them comply.

File the ID Theft affidavit with the FTC and a police report with your local law enforcement and send copies to any creditor, ca or bureau reporting ans quash the tradeline – that's why the tools are there.

Reply::confused:Few months back I was disputing DELL account that was listed on all 3 of my CR. The only Credit Report Agency that delete it was TransUnion the others came back with the investigation as being mines which is not the case at all. I don't know what else to do…Disputed over and over again with this account.
Would my best option be to contact the Orignal Creditor which is DELL or should I leave it on my CR? It will be removed off my reports in 2011.
It seems most creditor that I try to open accounts with either go for Experian or Equifax and rarely TransUnion.
