rnIm hindsight, we were thinking maybe we should not dispute it be . for the debt validation letter to the CA

rnMüssen you for the same reasons on all 3 CR dispute? Will it make a difference if we're not on the other 2 be? Dispute? It is an account that last 7 years old and is past the SOL in our state . It was sold twice, so we can not imagine that they have no information or documents related to him . It's pretty much his ONLY neg .

PayPal's computerised script based dispute system (you don't think your emails are being processed by a real person do you ?) will delay it past the point where you can do a 'Charge Back' on your card ..
Since you are the buyer, there is a good chance the PayPpal computer will then automatically decide 'in your favor' …

Reply:A CRA is an independant company. They are in the business to make money so they don't give a flying [EXPLETIVE DELETED] what their competitors are doing.
So they couldn't care less what you are telling the other CRAs.
And in all reality, they really don't care what they hell you are telling creditors or collection agencies either. They just simply report what they are told to report, therefore you can DV that CA anytime you want.
A CRA is not part of the government or a governmental agency. Nor do they have any governmental or police powers. In fact, they are not even closely monitored by the government like the way a bank is.
They are a private company that makes money.
